Join us to experience the magical Aurora Borealis. Authentic Icelandic wool blankets, hot chocolate and Icelandic pastries are included.
Words simply cannot describe the sight of this spectacular phenomenon. It’s an experience that we know you will want to savor and enjoy.
So, with this in mind, our Northern Lights tour has been created accordingly - with an absolute emphasis on the word ‘experience’. First off, we will start our hunt for the Northern Lights with a bit of pre-planning via the Aurora forecast and start our exploration by heading in that direction.
Our guide takes you comfortably towards the proposed location of the lights.* Once (and if) the elusive lights appear it’s time to pull over, wrap you up in an Icelandic wool blanket, and take in the spectacular swirling overhead light show. Now is the time we taste some yummy hot chocolate and the Icelandic pastries known as ‘kleina’ (a sort of twisted doughnut) – all of which are included in the tour price.

Every day we closely monitor the forecast for the evening. Favorable conditions require, at least, light to moderate activity, cold weather, and a clear sky. When conditions are favorable, we announce the decision on the website to confirm the tour.
Even with the best of guides and a detailed forecast, sightings are never guaranteed.

*Please note that the access to restroom facilities out of urban areas is very limited while on the Northern lights tours.
